Custom Object Filters: Related Objects


Purpose: The Related Objects filter functionality allows you to search by or create filter groups by associated records' stage, field value, automation status, activities, forms or surveys submissions, owner, team interaction, or lead source

To add a Related Object Filter, follow these steps:


1. Navigate to Data from the top menu bar


2. Click Contacts


3. Click on the Filter icon 12 



4. Click Choose Filter


5. Click on Related Object



6. Click Choose Relationship field


7. Click on Primary for Deal Record



8. Click Choose Condition


9. Click on That has Filters



10. Click Choose Filter


11. Click on Stage



Tip: Send an Email to Contacts that have an associated Sales Deal record in the 'Contract' Stage


12. Click Choose Condition


13. Click on Equals



14. Click Choose Option


15. Click on Contract



16. Click Apply Filter



17. Click on Select Option


18. Click on All in Search



19. Click on Perform Action


20. Click on Send Email



Hint: If filtering by relationship to multiple Custom Objects, only use 'AND' filters
