In order to add a contact you must enter at least one of the following:
1. First Name
2. Last Name
3. Email Address
4. Phone Number
Hint: Not including email addresses may create duplicate records
Add a Contact Manually
Contacts can be added manually, one at a time, using these steps:
1. Select Data from the top menu bar.
2. Click Contacts.
3. Click New Contact.
4. Enter the contact information.
5. Click Save.
Quick Add a Contact

Mass Upload Contacts through a .CSV File
Large groups of contacts can be uploaded through .CSV Files, using these steps:
1. Select Data from the top menu bar.
2. Click Contacts.
3. Click the V next to New Contact.
4. Select Upload Contacts.
5. Click Download Template
6. Add Contact Data to the Template (Optional)
Standard Contact template contains a sample record that you will need to remove before uploading populated data file. Please use it as an example to structure your data load.
Attention: This step is Optional if You can decided to upload your own data file (export form other CRM systems for example)
7. Analyze and Deduplicate Contact Data
Contact Email is a Primary Key field and Required attribute during the upload.
Please make sure that Contact Email is Unique. Review entire dataset before you confirm upload.
Please Note: Failure to remove duplicate email address/record may result in loss of data, updating AgentCRM only with last record values available in the data file
8. Apply Format to selected Contact Data Fields and Save data file
Make sure that Phone Numbers are formatted exactly as defined in the template.
Attention: Failure to update required attributes to specified format will result in AgentCRM data loader process to mark record as an exception and skip record during the upload.
Same logic will apply if your data file contains attribute value for drop down lists (example: Status fields) which are not matching value in Agent CRM field. Save CSV file before upload.
9. Upload Contact data file
Choose .csv file you prepared for upload
10. Confirm or Update data mapping options to upload data
Please Note: If you are using standard template and not your custom data file, mappings between file fields and AgentCRM Contact fields will be set automatically.
Map CSV attributes to fields in AgentCRM and select Option for Conflict Resolution
Click Upload button
11. Verify Results of the data upload process
AgentCRM will send you an Email Confirmation with a link to the file which will show record import status or exception.
